Humor Chic News - THE INDIPENDENT "Artist redraws Marge Simpson and Disney Princesses as battered and bruised victims of domestic violence"

They’re our favourite cartoon characters, but not as we know them.
Marge Simpson stands despondently with a black eye next to a grinning, vacant Homer. A trickle of blood comes from Lois Griffin’s nose as Peter drapes his arm around her. Wonder Woman has Superman’s hand clasped over her mouth, while Snow White lies seemingly unconscious at the feet of Prince Charming.

These illustrations are the work of an artist who has put a sinister spin on iconic animations in order to highlight the disturbing realities of domestic abuse.
No Violence Against Women is a project by Italian artist and activist AleXsandro Palombo, 40, who is based in Milan.
It forces its audience to confront the plight some women go through under the pretence of a happy relationship or family.

“I wanted to give visibility to a problem that affects a great amount of women all over the world,” he told MailOnline.

“Domestic violence is a problem so widespread that victims and perpetrators could be anyone. Even in couples that appear to be normal.”
The British Crime Survey estimates that there were 12.9 million incidents of domestic violence acts against women in the UK in 2013.

And according to Women’s Aid, one in four women experience domestic violence over their lifetimes, and between 6 and 10 per cent of women suffer domestic violence annually.

It is not the first time Palombo has produced provocative work.
After he lost his own leg two years ago, the artist published a project entitled Do You Still Like Us?, depicting Disney characters with wheelchairs, crutches and missing limbs, which raised awareness around the subject of people with disabilities.

Humor Chic News - DAILYMAIL "Can you imagine Wonder Woman as a battered wife? Artist draws strong female cartoon characters to shine a disturbing light on domestic violence"

Domestic violence is the leading cause of injury to women in the U.S.
Artist and activist AleXsandro Palombo hopes to encourage more victims to come forward

By ANNABEL FENWICK ELLIOTT

From the Simpsons and the Flintstones, to Snow White and Wonder Woman, one artist has put a disturbing spin on the animated lives of America's favorite cartoon characters.
No Violence Against Women is a project intended to throw the issue of domestic abuse into the spotlight, by forcing us to confront what goes on behind the happy veneer of many real-life families and relationships.
Italian artist and activist AleXsandro Palombo, 40, who is based in Milan, tells MailOnline: 'I wanted to give visibility to a problem that affects a great amount of women all over the world.'
The artist, who is famous for his thought-provoking satirical work, chose 'the most iconic cartoon characters of all time' to illustrate his point, and released the images in honor of International Women's Day earlier this year.
His cast includes a bloodied Snow White at the feet of Prince Charming and a battered Marge Simpson standing dejectedly next to her husband Homer, who, like fellow fictional patriarchs Fred Flintstone and Peter Griffin, grins vacantly beside his wife as if nothing is amiss.
The only male figure who looks conventionally menacing is Popeye, who wears his trademark scowl, and perhaps the smiling Fred Flintstone, who, on closer inspection, is gripping his baton shiftily behind his back.

One banner bears the stark question: 'What Kind of Man are You?'
Such challenging art generally sparks a divided response, but regardless of how the message is conveyed or received, violence against women remains a profound issue all over the world.
'Domestic violence is a problem so widespread that its victims and perpetrators could be anyone,' Mr Palombo says. 'Even in couples that appear to be normal.'
According to DomesticViolence, one woman in the U.S. is beaten or assaulted every nine seconds.
Furthermore, domestic violence is classed as the leading cause of injury to women in the U.S - more than car accidents, muggings, and sexual assaults combined.
And sadly, based on government reports, between 55per cent and 95per cent of women who have been physically abused by their partners never contact non-governmental organizations, shelters, or the police for help.

For Mr Palombo, its not the first time Disney characters have appeared in his provocative work. Earlier this year, he published a project entitled Do You Still Like Us? - which saw Pocahontas, Cinderella and Snow White, amongst others, in wheelchairs or with crutches and missing limbs.
The artist, who lost his own leg to cancer two years ago, gained wide applause for raising awareness around the subject of people with disabilities.
Earlier works dive into the morally-fraught fashion world, including an image depicting Vogue editor Anna Wintour clutching a butcher's knife and a rabbit's head - a reference to her outspoken obsession with fur - and another which sees designer Victoria Beckham as a bikini-clad skeleton, entitled Anorexic Fashion Icon.

Humor Chic News - E! ONLINE Entertainment Television "Kim Kardashian's Booty Selfie, Vogue Cover and More Famous Photos Get The Simpsons Treatment"

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been Simpsonized by artist aleXsandro Palombo for what's titled "Best Shots Ever." Before you get excited, you should know that these animations aren't hinting at a Simpsons appearance by Kimye. These aren't for the show and aleXsandro doesn't even have any connection to the popular Fox series, but you wouldn't know that by just looking at the photos.

Palombo, a contemporary artist, activist, illustrator and painter, has drawn inspiration from some of Kim and Kanye's most talked-about photos and in turn given them the cartoon touch.
Like the famous booty selfie, for example.

Remember when Kim put on that stringy, white one-piece bathing suit that really accentuated her greatest asset? Well, Palombo recreated the bootylicious selfie and added Kanye into the mix, because, well, why not? So next to cartoon Kim is cartoon Kanye butt-naked.

He even made it into a billboard with the appropriate hashtage. So social media friendly, he is!
Another animation was taken from their buzzed about Vogue cover, featuring the now-newlyweds in wedding gear prior to their highly-talked about nuptials. But that's not all!

Palombo also transformed some of Kim's racy photo shoot pictures and even included North West for a funny drawing of the trio mooning the paparazzi on the red carpet!

Humor Chic News - DAILYMAIL UK Springfield just got sexy! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West get The Simpsons treatment in hilarious new animation

It looks like Springfield just got a sexy new arrival.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been given The Simpsons-treatment in a number of hilarious animations by artist aleXsandro Palombo.
While the artist has no connection with the official 20th Century Fox show, Kim and Kanye certainly make for convincing characters.

And perhaps it won't be long before the pair are invited on to the hit show.
They have already graced the cover of Vogue Magazine this year, so a guest spot on The Simpsons doesn't sound too far-fetched.
Kim recently revealed that while she no longer goes out clubbing, she reserves her raunchy dance moves for the bedroom.

She said in an episode of her reality show: 'My twerking skills are for the bedroom, not the club.'
Kim was speaking with her mother Kris Jenner, sister Khloe Kardashian and half-sister Kendall Jenner during a Soul Cycle class and during the workout session, the showbiz matriarch was the subject of a number of mean comments from her younger daughter.
As Kris started clapping and dancing to the music, Kendall blasted: "Do you always have to be the centre of attention? It's so annoying.'
'Eww mom, you're so embarrassing, you need to act your age.' She then muttered: "Desperate f***ing w***e.'
Kris, 58, didn't appear to hear the comment and later told her daughters: 'This reminds me of being in the club, for real. I love the music, I love the energy, everyone's so excited.'
Kendall snapped: 'Why are you going to clubs? This is so embarrassing.'
Kris said she simply liked 'being out an about', prompting the teenager to brand her an 'embarrassment to the family'.
Sounds like it could make for an interesting episode of The Simpsons.

Humor Chic News - CROMOS Colombia ¿KIM KARDASHIAN Y KANYE WEST SE UNEN A LOS SIMPSON?

Humor Chic News - HOLLYWOOD LIFE "Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Dissed ‘Simpsons’-Style"

The couple of the year gets dissed in the most hilarious way. Check out Kim Kardashian and Kanye West get transformed (and made fun of) in these ‘Simpsons’-style pics.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have gone animated! Artist AleXsandro Palombo created Simpsons-style versions of classic poses from the couple, including the Kimye Vogue cover and Kim’s 2007 Playboy shoot! Talk about a funny diss!

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West: Dissed ‘Simpsons’-Style
When you combine Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and The Simpsons together — that’s what you call art. Artist AleXsandro Palombo took the craze behind Kim and Kanye’s recent wedding and made hilarious caricatures of the couple.

From their famous Vogue cover to naked selfies, AleXsandro didn’t hold back on the hilarious Kimye diss.
AleXsandro created a Simpsons-style version of Kim’s sexy booty selfie, and created a Kanye one, too!
The artist also included some scandalous photos of the caricature Kim, which might be NSFW. AleXsandro poked fun at Kim’s Playboy shoot and recreated many of Kim’s super sexy poses and topless photos!

The couple was also dissed when AleXsandro created a caricature of Kim, Kanye and North flashing their butts to the paparazzi! Is he making them the butt of the ultimate joke?
AleXsandro wasn’t the first person to diss Kimye. Model Naomi Campbell was one of the first to diss the Vogue cover, along with Sarah Michelle Gellar and even The Muppets. Then, the couple experience many disses in regards to their May 24 wedding. First, Kim’s brother Rob Kardashian bailed on the nuptials, and then Kanye’s BFF Jay Z skipped the entire wedding!
For Kimye, this is just a long line of disses for the couple. But you know what they say about that, “haters gonna hate.”

HollywoodLifers, what do you think about the Kim and Kanye Simpsons-style diss? Is it funny or did the artist go too far? Let us know!

Humor Chic News - OK! MAGAZINE "Kim goes to Springfield! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West depicted as characters from The Simpsons"

Artist aleXsandro Palombo draws the power couple as cartoon characters from hit TV show, pokes fun at Kim's famous belfie
KIM Kardashian certainly isn't shy when it comes to showing off her body. He husband Kanye West? A little more so.

So while the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star will surely be tickled by an artists's interpretation of the couple as naked characters from The Simpsons, it's unclear how Kanye will react.

Some of Kim's most infamous poses have been aped by artist aleXsandro Palombo for the pictures, including her white swimsuit belfie.
The Vogue cover from her wedding to the Yeesus rapper also gets Simpson-ised.

And then there's the shot of the happy couple in their birthday suits.

Other shots from the collection – which aren't completely suitable for work – depict Kim in some of her raunchier poses.

While the pictures aren't official shots from The Simpsons' creators, they will surely increase demand for the starry couple to pay a visit to Springfield and appear in the show for real.

We'd love to see Kim take Marge to a spa or see a playdate between Marge and Homer's baby daughter Maggie and Kim and Kanye's daughter North.

Hey, it could happen.

Humor Chic News - MIRROR UK "See Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as slightly inappropriate Simpsons-inspired characters"

Mr and Mrs West have been re-imagined in the form of NSFW characters from The Simpsons

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are practically taking over the world, so it comes as little surprise they now have their very own rather brilliant Simpsons-inspired characters.

Mr and Mrs West have been drawn up in a range of mildly inappropriate poses by artist aleXsandro Palombo, including a few completely naked shots of yummy mum Kim and hubby Kanye.

Other drawings include their controversial Vogue cover, Kim's famous white swimsuit selfie and the famous shot of her wearing black undies and over-the-knee boots.

Another see Kim and Kanye stood between one-year-old North who is looking more like a 50-year-old.

However, one shot Palombo didn't recreate was the picture of Kim sunbathing on her second Mexican honeymoon with hubby Kanye West in a completely see-through bikini.

Humor Chic News - International Business Times 'El Chapo' Guzman: See Homer Simpson Transformed into Captured Mexican Druglord

Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán has been transformed into Homero Simpson: the Sinaloa cartel leader has apparently stepped right into Springfield. The Home Simpson Chapo was created by Italian artists Alexsandro Palombo in a series of drawings caleld 'Drug War,' which also shows Bart Simpson buying marijuana. The hilarious yet very dark adaptations also imagine Barack Obama's head in the hands of Homer 'El Chapo' Guzman-Simpson.

Homer Simpson is also transformed into Pablo Escobar, the founder and leader of the Medellín Cartel, who died in 1993 during a joint operation between the CIA and Colombian authorities. Palombo posted the images on the blog 'Humor Chic.' He describes 'El Chapo' and Escobar as "two of the most powerful drug dealers in history, to of the most hated yet the most loved and venerated by their citizens." The images also show Bart buying drugs from President Obama.

"Pablo Escobar was a ruthless drug dealer responsible for the massacres of his fellow civilians and officers, but he was also a drug trafficker that was in favor of drug legalization, and his idea was prophetic," says the artist  Alexsandro Palombo. "If, 30 years ago, the institutions of various countries would have taken the path of the drug legalization, would have there been all that blood shed and a drug dealer as powerful as El Chapo today?”

Tampoco a Homer Simpson.
