Marge Simpson podría perfectamente caer en lo más destacado de la cultura pop del último tiempo.
Dueña de un estilo de ama de casa, pero siempre con un carácter que la ha hecho pilar de la familia que lidera junto al loco de Homero Simpson, Marge se encumbra entre los personajes favoritos de la serie de la cadena FOX.
Tal es el nivel de cariño que genera la apacible jefa de hogar, que el artista italiano Alexsandro Palombo ha publicado en su blog 'Humor Chic' una serie de fotografías de ella vistiendo los trajes que hicieron historia en el mundo de la moda.
Así podemos ver a Marge como una "conejita" para Playboy, como Jacqueline Kennedy o como la musa del cine de los cincuenta, Marilyn Monroe. Según Palombo, Marge es un verdadero icono del pop, más que cualquier estrella de rock o político, "ella es más real que cualquier otro personaje y representa plenamente a las mujeres de hoy", dijo a la revista Vogue.
"Cada uno de estos vestidos ha dejado una marca indeleble en la historia y en muchos lograron convertirse en leyenda, como el traje rosa de Jackie Kennedy", agregó el artista.

Das hat sich das Team der amerikanischen Harper's BAZAAR schon 2009 gefragt – und diese legendäre Modestrecke produziert.
Nun hat der italienische Multimedia-Künstler Alexsandro Palombo noch eins draufgelegt. Er zeichnet die Fersehheldin in Kleidern, die Geschichte schrieben, wie der weiße neckholder von Marilyn Monroe aus „Das verflixte 7. Jahr” oder der Entwurf von Hubert de Givenchy für Audrey Hepburn in „Frühstück bei Tiffany”. Weitere Inspirationsquelle waren bekannte Modefotografien. Der Auftritt der Comicfigur als Dovima, die Richard Avedon 1955 für Harper's BAZAAR fotografierte, ist ebenso grandios wie der Sprung mit Regenschirm als Carmen dell’ Orefice, festgehalten von demselben Fotografen. Erkennt man ebenfalls sofort: Mrs Simpson als Mademoiselle Chanel. Beste Pose: Marge als Kate Moss im PR-Foto für deren bevorstehende „Playboy”-Strecke.

De esta manera es que podemos ver a Marge posando como conejita de Playboy al estilo Kate Moss, rememorando aquella escena fantástica de La comezón del séptimo año con Marilyn Monroe y su emblemático vestido blanco volando por los aires, o bien, copiando a Nastassja Kinski enrollada en una serpiente para Richard Avedon.
“Considero que muchas mujeres del mundo comparten cualidades con Marge, así que con este tributo quise dejar salir la magia, fuerza, feminidad, elegancia, erotismo y belleza que está presente no sólo en Marge Simpson, sino en todas las representantes del género femenino”, apuntó el artista. “La selección fue muy cuidadosa y tratamos de que toda esta galería reflejara la transformación e influencia de la moda femenina a lo largo de los últimos 100 años”, remató Palombo.

La edición británica de Vogue fue la primera en publicar las imágenes donde aparece Marge Simpson convertida en una verdadera representante de la moda, a la altura de Marilyn Monroe, Madonna, Kate Moss, entre otras. Según Palombo, Marge es un verdadero ícono del pop, más que cualquier estrella de rock o político, “ella es más real que cualquier otro personaje y representa plenamente a las mujeres de hoy”, dijo.

“There is a Marge Simpson is every woman, and with this tribute I wanted to ignite the magic that is in every woman — the strength, femininity, elegance, eroticism and beauty,” Palombo told Vogue UK. “I made a strict and careful selection of what, in my opinion, has really influenced the style of the last 100 years. Each of these dresses really changed the course of the history of costume, giving a new aesthetic vision that has anticipated major changes in our society.
“We may not consider these clothes art, but the aesthetic vision that they emanate has played an important role in giving strength to the path of emancipation of women since 1900,” Palombo said. “In many cases it’s the dress that has transformed a woman into an icon, but in many others, it’s the personality of the women that has enlightened the dress.”

Grünes Kleid, rote Schuhe, farblich passender Halsschmuck - Marge Simpson hat definitiv Stil. Doch auch der beste Look ist irgendwann auserzählt, und dann muss etwas Neues her. Der Fashion-Satiriker Alexsandro Palombo hätte da ein paar Ideen.
Ein wallendes Kleid aus der neuen Kollektion von Victoria Beckham zum Beispiel. Dazu die für die britische Designerin typischen High Heels. Derart hohe Hacken trägt die Lady in Yellow sonst nie - der Gesichtsausdruck spiegelt angemessenes Erschrecken.
Weit wohler scheint sich die gute Marge da im "Mondrian"-Dress von Yves Saint Laurent zu fühlen. Kein Wunder, schließlich enthält das Kleid die geliebten Farben Gelb und Blau - und auch die Absatzhöhe bewegt sich in vertrauten Dimensionen.
Dass in Marge ein heißer Feger steckt, dürfte bekannt sein - doch die großzügig ausgeschnittene Thierry-Mugler-Robe aus dem Jahr 1995 rückt Homer Simpsons Frau dann doch in ein neues Licht. Der italienische Künstler Alexsandro Palombo, der sie für seinen Blog Humor Chic in das außergewöhnliche Kleid gesteckt hat, ist in der Modewelt gefürchtet für seine satirischen Abbildungen bekannter Models und sogenannter Fashionistas.
Der Cartoonist lässt die gelbe Frau mit der Turmfrisur nicht nur in die Roben bekannter Designer schlüpfen, sondern auch in die Rollen berühmter Persönlichkeiten. Marilyn Monroe über dem Lüftungsschacht ist ebenso dabei ...wie Madonna im aufreizenden Korsett von Jean-Paul Gaultier.
Simpson Spice: Für die Imitation von Gery Halliwell bekommt Marge nicht nur ein winziges Kleidchen und Neunziger-Jahre-Plateaustiefel, sondern auch ein Paar Brüste verpasst.
Aber neu muss nicht immer gefährlich sein - Marge kann nach wie vor brav. So brav wie Kate Middleton in ihrem Verlobungskleid. Ob sich Marge auch den funkelnden Verlobungsring der Herzogin von Cambridge ausgeliehen hat, geht aus dem Bild nicht hervor. Kess verbirgt sie ihre Hände hinter dem Rücken.
Unvergessen bleibt auch "Breakfast at Tiffany's". In der Hauptrolle - nein, nicht die betörende Audrey Hepburn - sondern die unschuldig dreinblickende Marge im schwarzen Abendkleid von Givenchy.
Ganz schön lässig kommt Marge Simpson im Coco-Chanel-Kostüm mit passender Tasche daher. In dem Klassiker scheint sie sich am wohlsten zu fühlen. Ist ja auch um einiges praktischer als eine Robe mit Popoausschnitt oder ein Korsett mit Pyramidenbrüsten.
Marge in einem echten Eyecatcher: In diesem Schwanenkleid, entworfen von der Designerin Marjan Pejoski, zog Björk im Jahr 2001 bei der Oscarverleihung alle Blicke auf sich. Zur großen Freude aller Anwesenden legte die isländische Sängerin sogar ein Ei auf den Roten Teppich, das sich als Handtasche entpuppte. Marge Simpson setzt da lieber auf das blaue Ei - auf ihrem Haupt.
