Humor Chic News - IRISH EXAMINER "Disney Princesses star in an anti-bullying campaign"

Stop Bullying is a powerful series of illustrations depicting the lives of our favourite cartoon characters in the hands of their bullies.

Italian artist AleXsandro Palombo’s eye-opening collection highlights the startling reality of not only verbal and physical bullying, but the rising development of online bullying too.

These startling images force us to accept that bullying is still very much alive and more so than ever with the rise of technology.
The all-star class include a helpless Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella and Snow White, struggling with the ropes around their necks.

Bart Simpson is drawn pulling at a noose around Family Guy’s Chris Griffin’s, while his own sister Lisa is suffering the same ordeal at the hands of her online bully Meg Griffin.
Palombo told us: “I tried to make young people ponder things through a series of familiar figures, and the cartoons are the most powerful familiar figures.

“The most important task is up to the family: educate their children. Unfortunately there is lack of education in so many families and it is one of the root cause of bullying.”
