Karl Lagerfeld and co have been immortalised in cartoon form by Italian artist aleXsandro Palombo - and the results are très amusing.
We first came across the talented cartoon caricaturist when he reimagined Anna Wintour, Marc Jacobs and Coco Chanel as characters from The Simpsons (Marc and Coco were dead ringers for Homer and Marge - Marc's ultra buff body aside) on his Humour Chic blog.
Now Palombo has decided to recreate the fashion pack as The Smurfs.
It's a timely decision - cobalt clue is THE colour to be seen in this summer, Rita Ora recently dyed her hair a Smurf-friendly shade, plus Smurfette was given her own fashion show on the NYFW schedule last season. Add to that the Smurfs 2 release in cinemas this summer (Britney is on the soundtrack, dont'cha know) and we can see why the little blue creatures were the next cartoons to get a fashion makeover.
Described as a "Satirist, visionary artist, author and critic" on his blog, aleXsandro said of his creations that "When I put pencil to paper, I know where I'll start but I don't know where I'll finish".
But the question is - which cartoon fash pack do you prefer? At GLAMOUR we have to admit we're bigger fans of The Simpsons - but then the Smurfette take on Anna Wintour is priceless. Let us know what you think @glamourmaguk
